4) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies—small text files stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser (so-called "session cookies"), while others remain on your device for a longer period and allow us to save site settings (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can view the storage duration in your web browser's cookie settings. If any cookies we use process personal data, such processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of a contract, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR based on your consent, or in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in ensuring the best possible website functionality and a customer-friendly, effective browsing experience. 6) Use of customer data for direct marketing

By activating the confirmation link, you grant us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. In doing so, we store the IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration, enabling us to trace any potential misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected during newsletter registration is used strictly for this specific purpose. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link provided in the newsletter itself or by sending a corresponding message to the data controller named at the beginning of this document. 8) Page functionalities

8.1 - Google reCAPTCHA On this website, we use the CAPTCHA service provided by: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA. To visually design the CAPTCHA window, the provider uses "Google Fonts"—fonts loaded from the internet via Google. No information other than that mentioned above—which is already transmitted to Google via the reCAPTCHA functionality—is processed in this context. The service checks whether input is made by a natural person or improperly by machine-based, automated processing; it blocks spam, DDoS attacks, and similar automated malicious access attempts. To ensure that an action is performed by a human rather than an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the device used, identification data regarding the browser and operating system type, and the date and duration of the visit, transmitting this data to the provider's servers for analysis. Cookies—small text files stored in the device's browser—may be used for this purpose. If the processing operations described above involve the use of cookies, these cookies are only set if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service via the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website. If the processing operations described above are carried out without the use of cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in verifying individual human interaction on the internet and preventing abuse and spam, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has adhered to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

8.2 Google Customer Reviews (formerly Google Certified Shops program) We collaborate with Google as part of the "Google Customer Reviews" program. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). This program enables us to collect customer reviews from users of our website. After using our services, you will be asked on our website whether you wish to participate in an email survey conducted by Google. If you provide your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we will transmit your email address to Google. You will receive an email from Google Customer Reviews asking you to rate your purchasing experience on our website. The rating you submit is subsequently aggregated with our other ratings and displayed within our Google Customer Reviews badge and our Merchant Center dashboard. Furthermore, your rating is used for Google Seller Ratings. The use of Google Customer Reviews may also involve the transfer of personal data to Google LLC servers in the USA. You may revoke your consent at any time by notifying the data controller or by contacting Google directly. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has adhered to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission. Further information regarding Google’s privacy policies can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/

8.3 Wix Forms We use the services of the following provider to conduct surveys or for online forms: Wix HQ, 6350671, Nemal Tel Aviv St 40, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel The provider enables us to design and analyze surveys and online forms. In addition to the personal data you enter into the forms, information regarding your operating system, browser, the date and time of your visit, the referrer URL, and your IP address is collected, transmitted to the provider, and stored on the provider’s servers. Information entered into the forms is stored in a password-protected manner to ensure that access by third parties is prevented and that only we can analyze the data for the specific purpose stated in the form. When processing personal data, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations required to fulfill a contract with you (this also applies to processing operations necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures). If you have given us your consent to process your data, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. In the event of data transmission to the provider's location, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

9) Tools and Miscellaneous

Cookie Consent Tool This website uses a "cookie consent tool" to obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. When users visit the site, the "cookie consent tool" appears as an interactive user interface where users can grant consent for specific cookies and/or cookie-based applications by checking the appropriate boxes. The tool ensures that cookies or services requiring consent are only loaded if the user has granted the corresponding consent by checking the boxes. This guarantees that such cookies are placed on the user's device only when consent has been given. The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. As a general rule, no personal user data is processed in this context. If, in an individual case, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning, or logging cookie settings, this processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a legally compliant, user-specific, and user-friendly cookie consent management system, and thus in ensuring the legal compliance of our website. A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. As the data controller, we are subject to a legal obligation to make the use of cookies that are not technically necessary conditional upon user consent. Where necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider; this agreement ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. Further information regarding the operator and the configuration options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly within the relevant user interface on our website.

If statutory retention periods apply to data processed in the context of contractual or quasi-contractual obligations pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, such data is routinely deleted after the retention periods expire, provided the data is no longer required for the performance or initiation of a contract and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in continued storage.
